United Medical Centers maintains nine service sites and offers Pediatric, OB/GYN, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Podiatry and Dental Services. In addition, our Centers offer in-house services such as Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, Family Planning, and WIC.
The Family Planning Program provides services to both Women and Men who meet certain income and residency requirements.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The Healthy Texas Woman Program at United Medical Centers provides women, who are uninsured and need assistance, with access to the complete care and information necessary to maintain and improve their overall health. Birth control, gynecological exams, health screenings and an outstanding prenatal program which includes education and counseling services.

At United Medical Centers we continually strive to provide the highest quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare services to residents of Eagle Pass, Del Rio, Brackettville and surrounding communities. With nine (9) locations, we proudly serve the Tri-County area of Kinney, Maverick and Val Verde counties. Our facilities offer comprehensive medical services that include family medicine, family planning, health education and nutrition counseling, internal medicine, pediatrics, podiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, WIC, and dental.
WIC is the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program which serves low income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women and children under age five who have a nutritional need. WIC is a federally funded program and is administered by the Texas Department of State Health Services. WIC services are available to anyone who lives in Texas and meets the program guidelines regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability or immigration status.
United Medical Centers is dedicated to providing high quality care for adult patients. Family Medicine physicians, Internists and medical staff focus on the prevention, diagnosis and
treatment of adult diseases, including diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure) and other chronic illnesses.
UMC provides care to more than 34,184 people who live in and around Eagle Pass, Del Rio, and Brackettville, Texas. UMC meets the health care needs of children, pregnant women, as well as working families, patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and many other patients who have difficulty finding access to health care.
