Under the supervision and direction of the assigned charge nurse and in coordination with the medical providers, assists in providing care in the area(s) assigned in accordance with established philosophy, policies and procedures. Must be able to identify and categorize each patient's age specific grouping needs, such as those for infant, adolescent or geriatric.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified from an approved NRCMA Program.
1. Must have current CPR certification.
2. Prior experience in all nursing area preferred.
3. Prior experience in patient education primarily in diabetes, hypertension and other community sponsored health education programs preferred.
SPECIFIC DEMANDS: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to communicate proficiently with individuals of diverse backgrounds and economic levels. Must be able to be certified as a noncertified radiology technician as required by position.
