WIC is the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program which serves low income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women and children under age five who have a nutritional need. WIC is a federally funded program and is administered by the Texas Department of State Health Services. WIC services are available to anyone who lives in Texas and meets the program guidelines regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability or immigration status.
United Medical Centers is dedicated to providing high quality care for adult patients. Family Medicine physicians, Internists and medical staff focus on the prevention, diagnosis and
treatment of adult diseases, including diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure) and other chronic illnesses.
UMC provides care to more than 34,184 people who live in and around Eagle Pass, Del Rio, and Brackettville, Texas. UMC meets the health care needs of children, pregnant women, as well as working families, patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and many other patients who have difficulty finding access to health care.
