Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, assures the building sites are clean, safe, and orderly, including clinic grounds, consistent with the approved guidelines and protocols. Responsible for compliance with other requirements affecting the Medical Center, such as State/Federal regulations, The Joint Commission, standards, DSHS Standards, HRSA, and Compliance Improvement Standards. Responsible for compliance with other requirements impacting United Medical Centers such as State/Federal regulations, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA), Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), The Joint Commission, Accountable Care Organization, Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Optimizing Comprehensive Clinical Care (OC3), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Meaningful Use, Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Standards, and Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Six (6) months or more experience in building/custodial and housekeeping required. Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, air-condition, and system preferred. Must know fire safety regulations and emergency procedures are preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to communicate proficiently with individuals of diverse backgrounds and economic levels. An insured personal vehicle to transfer supplies between clinic sites when necessary. A good driving record. Able to meet on-call requirements as needed.
Ability to lift moderate to heavyweight. A significant amount of time spent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
You may be exposed to chemical, mechanical, electrical, radiation, and biological hazards. (OSHA Bloodborne Category II). Exposure to cleaning agents and disinfectants. Exposure to various weather conditions.
